I've got so much 'stuff' lying around in drawers and empty crates that it's not really funny anymore.
After recently upgrading to my really nifty XION II computer case for my 'main' rig, I also swapped out things from my 'second' rig into the case I had been using for #1.
So, I had an empty case on my hands.
Lying around not doing anyone any good at all was a LEGEND QDI Motherboard with a PIII 500 Slot 1 CPU sticking out of it.
So, scrounging through all my old and outdated stuff, I've put things together using all this to make a running system with the following specs:
QDI Legend mobo Brilliant 1
Pentium III 500 Slot 1 CPU
400 W PSU
Windows 98SE
160 GB HD IDE
Diamond Stealth PCI Video Card w/ 4 MB RAM

256 MB PC133 RAM
DVD ROM drive
Creative Labs PCI 128 Audio Card
10/100 PCI Fast Ethernet LAN Card
14 inch DigiView CRT Monitor (Max 1024x768 Resolution)
Why, might you ask, did you do this?
Well, for two reasons:
1. For the fun of it!
2. To gain access to a VERY STUBBORN and flaky 40 GB HD that was about to go to HDD Heaven....or Hell....or wherever they end up, and to get the files off it before it does go.
Mission Accomplished!
