Cool! Comparing Desktop Prices - Looking for a new computer

hey guys. well the motherboard on my old computer has crapped out after 3 years. I have checked and have discovered the manufactorer does not make the brand any more. So ive decided its time to invest in a new computer. on new egg i have found a couple computers that i am interested in that have a pretty good sale value.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...SubCategory=10

The one on the far right i am most interested in, but i have a few questions for you guys.

1. are these a good deal?
2. are they good computers? (i will be using it for mainly gaming + i will be added memory, a sound card and my video card from my old computer)
3. what are the differences between these computers? i only can see minor differences, but i do not understand how they can differ in price because of them

if you guys know of any other sites with good deals, it would be great if u could link me. im on a tight budget and not at all looking for top of the line. $400-500 is around my budget range.

thx,
-civ

*EDIT*

well while i was aaway for the day my father bought me a new case and motherboard. so now the problem is i have to get my old hardrive working with this new motherboard, and since my old motherboard and XP was made for the old computer, my hard drive wont run with this new motherboard. so we gotta some how take off the information i want, format it, then get a clean install of XP on the old hard drive and start over. oh well....

I just went thru a similair head ache trying to install XP. It's actually easy enough. You should be able to hook up the HD, start up in bios, put the XP CD in, and then it should take you thru, the reinstall/formatting.
