RME & Audigy for monitoring
I have this new (used) RME digi96/8 pst coming next week and am hoping to
do following: As I use my Audigys (SB0244 10k2 (e100) ) DSP for equalizing my monitors (measured) I hope I could connect RME´s SPDIF output to Audigy´s digital in for monitoring but how? I guess there are digital ins somewhere in the card, please advice! I don´t have the digital in/midi card and I hope it´s not needed. I´ve been using 3538h and MX6 with 4 discrete inputs and been very satisfied, thank You all! This RME lets me set output to other sample rate than what I´m recording so I could listen at 44,1 or 48 khz even I was recording at 96 khz for example, if it helps. Happy new year and thank´s for any advice! Matti Last edited by Matti; Dec 30, 2005 at 07:02 PM. |

Hi Matti!
Please refer to the technical forum on DriverHeaven. It shows you the AD_EXT pinout on the audigy where you can find the SPDIF in and outputs, search for AD_EXT. The audigy accepts all sample rates between 32 and 96kHz (192kHz) and all bit depths from 16 up to 24. Good luck and happy new year! |
