recording question

Hi everybody,
i wonder if it is possible to avoid resampling while recording linein (asio)
with this setup:
activate ac97 <-> is2 routing
set direct spidif rec to is2 1
connect prolog ac97/2 with epilog asio0/1
does this work? or is it only possible for digital recordings? greetz bpm

Maddogg6 has a spectacular aura aboutMaddogg6 has a spectacular aura about

I dont think direct SPDIF recording works with ASIO... I never tried it tho...

If it is possible - I dont know how you would rout that port to an ASIO channel - I assumed it went to a WinMME interface directly (internal in KX driver)..??

I used ProFx ADC using Line IN w/ UDA instead - but same signal is present on ProFX/SRC - AC97/2 also. Which makes me wonder if theres a difference there now..??

The KX main site has a guide on direct recording - maybe look there - I will also later, but Im out the door... Ill investigate further then, as now Im curious too.

I guess this is because ProFx ADC PlugIn automaticly activates
the AC97 <-> IS2 routing, maybe i'm wrong. greetz BpM
