make sure they are not sharing an IRQ
i have two different model kX cards working perfectly, as do many others, so you should be able to get them working perfectly eventually try moving one card into another slot

Don't forget to verify if the swap front and rear is on or off for both cards and verify that the speakers are connected to the good connectors on the soundcards. |

I think only 1 card is allowed for ASIO recording/playback in most DAW software..
AFAIK - using 2 cards allows more inputs to be recored at 1 time BUT mixed with the card that IS enabled for ASIO, something I can accomplish using a hardware mixer anyway. - otherwise - you get 4 HW sytnths instead of 2 - the only 'real' advantage IMHO. The only other advantage I can comprehend is using 2 different drivers - CL for 1 and KX for the other is a real good proposition if your a gamer (for EAX) AND a musician (for KX DSP power). But i dont think you can expect 4 stereo/8 mono channel recording using 2 audigy's ASIO AFAIK (its not possible in Sonar anyway). |

These text files explain how to set up 2 sound cards with kX, Win 98SE and ntrack but most of the info is applicable to whatever OS and sequencer you're using.
