Commandline and remote

Hi,

I use a custom DSP with the ProFX plugins. I also run my own Litestep theme, and I try to get by without using a system tray. Is it possible to display a plugin (for example the MX6 mixer) without loading the kX tray icon first, going to the dsp from there, and then opening the plugin, using the commandline?
The docs are pretty confusing.

kX supports the included remote, but it's only half useful. It translates button presses into hard-coded winamp messages (play, stop, next, etc), which is more or less what I would like it to do, but I'd like more control - being able to specify a custom action would be a very nice feature, and very easy to implement.
