SB Platinum Live Drive Line2/Mic Problems

Hi all, I'm having problems getting a live input from my mic via the SB live front panel (Mic2/Line2).

Ok, Iv'e read the FAQ in regards to the Line in for Cubase and I also read the one about routing the Line 2 input for the Live drive. I followed the instructions, but after all was done I still couldn't get a live response when I tried testing my mic (which is plugged into the Line2/Mic2 on the Live front panel). I uninstalled all of my creative software and drivers first before I installed the KX drivers to make sure there would be no conflicts. I know I am missing a crucial process that is not allowing me to hear my mic, but I don't have the foggiest idea of what it could be. Can somebody, anybody please help my out here.

Thank You
Logan

same problem?

Hello Logan,
Unfortunately I am not replying with help - but with a question for you. I seem to be having a similar problem - but where are you reading the FAQ for doing something with the LiveDrive???
I am very confused. I do not have Cubase Installed yet - I am just trying to get a Mic/Line into the KX Driver from my front panel and I can't seem to get anything! I don't even see a fader for the mic/line in on my KX Mixer!!
I did not see any help concerning this - What is the Live Drive, and where can I find it so that I can try to do what you did (which you have said hasn't worked for you - but I'd like to try anyway).
If you could email directly to me (at: schkrew@hotmail.com) I would very much appreciate it!
Thanks,
Caroline

Mic2-In/Line2-In?
Have you at least looked at "Ins'n'Outs" and/or "Recording" pages?
