Two Live!s: one for kX, one for Creative. Not working?

Hi,

since kX doesn't support Vienna sf editor, I decided to install a second Live in my machine. Older one should use Creative's drivers and newer one those great kX drivers. But, they doesn't seem to like each other...

- when I install Creative's drivers, both cards are updated
- when I install kX drivers with setup.exe, both cards are updated
- when I install manually the kX drivers to the newer Live, after booting I get an error message: "kX compatible sound card not found".

I've tried to physically uninstall the cards and setup drivers, then install card afterwards, always ending the solution like that. Can anybody help me?? Os is XP.

ok, do this: 0) remove all creative inf stuff from your computer; 1) install both live's with creative drivers; 2) install kx drivers with setup.exe for both lives; 3) choose one of the lives and roll it's driver back (so you have creative driver on that live again). If it doesn't work start over and in step 3 choose the other live. It only works for me this way. And actually, in step 1, I have to add one card each time (can't install creative drivers with both cards already inside the machine).

What creative drivers are you using? I used the newest drivers for xp, but those came in self-extracting and self-installing package. (sigh) Although, I did NOT complete task number 0...

Should I use liveware3 for nt / just drivers or what? And of course uninstall any creatives inf files...
