Surrounder & Headphones
Hi, i only use headphones with kx and currently use the 2.1 option in surrounder. are you working on the headphone presets? that would be really nice. would like to see a reply from you Eugene

Headphones are only two speakers that you put on your head. They don't need a headphones preset but they could require one if you want to do more than routing the signals.
What are looking for in headphones presets. Any special features? |

well it would be nice if there was a better 3d system built into the driver or something built into the headphone preset that would give u full 360 sense of sound, i think the 3d sound is a lil 0ff in kx right now but it's okay

i want to use the goddamn headphones setting not 2.1
i see preset in the newest driver but it says unsupported Eugene needs to get off his lazy ass and add this verry simple feature |

kx_shane - there's no need to insult eugene like that
and a "simple" feature? surely not you can always us the HphSp pluging if you have to… but not matter what you do, stereo is stereo |

ok you think eugene should drop everything, his personal life, paid work, and other kX priorites just because you want headphone support?
you haven't even stated what it is that you actually want. do you want surround virtualisation? if so use the hPhSp DSP module, that's what it was designed for |

ok, sorry for being an asshole in the other replys and stuff i made but i would like you to explain to me in more detail how to get this surround virtualization working plz.
To use the hPhSp DSP module do i simply select the preset in surrounder? i think its more complex to set it up then that plz explain the steps lol once again i retract my previous flameage towards the driver and Eugene lol |

you need to replace the surrounder module in the dsp with the hPhSp module
follow lex's basic guide to the DSP if you need to |

nope it's sound blaster live value 10k1
would like to know how to setup the headphones plugin step by step so i can test it! for now i'm using default dsp settings + 3DSE normale |

Gosh thanks for all the help and support
and all those links you referred me to for the dsp are crap and dont clearly explain how to replace surrounder with the headphones plugin. You don't give enough details to help anyone with anything |
