Should I join your ranks?

I use my soundcard for gaming and nothing else. I've got no interest in audio input and that sort of thing, and have an aging but trusty audigy player card; the only piece of hardware that has survived from my last PC into this one.

Should I give the kx drivers a try, just stick to my old audigy drivers, or use modded audigy 2 drivers.

If I do try out kx, I assume that I should go with the more tested 3537 drivers.

edit..

p.s. I know that this sounds a very daft and simple question - but the faq's on the project page doesn't really answer what might be deceptively simple.

I have used them for both (music recording and gaming) for probably well over 2 years and haven't had any problems with them except recently with BF2. The sound is so much better with kx-driver even in games. But I think EAX is not supported so if that's of major concern for you, don't switch.
