Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Pro Supported??

Hi,

After reading the faq on the kX Project site, it said that Audigy 2 ZS cards are "not fully supported". Does that mean that I can not use the kX drivers with this card? Or does it mean that I can use it but there will be problems?

Any advice will be great.

I have a A2ZS Plat and see nothing missing except the registry bloat of the creative drivers.

works fine for me.

OH YES.

READ THE INSTALL NOTES that correspond to the version you install.

I have the most recent (not officially 'stable') and the install (I think) proceedure will be different than what is stable.

Either way, get rid of SB drivers, theres also a utility somewhere for making sure all registry entries is removed also... BUT I had no need to do this my self (WinXPSP2 - SB0350/A2ZSPlat)

Also note, the majority of creative 'utilities' will not work even tho you can install them (at least thats what I found) - except vienna.

Hey, thsnks alot maddogg6, I appreciate the advice. Should I uninstall the Creative drivers + Kx Project drivers then reinstall the kX drivers to insure a clean install?

YES un-install everything realted to the sound card - the SB drivers and utilities as well as the kx driver (that prolly didnt intstall correctly anyway)
