What is your speaker setup like (2 speakers, 5.1, etc)? Go into speaker setup and set surrounder to match your speakers. If you have only 2 speakers (or 2.1) and they are plugged into the Analog Front connections of your sound card, uncheck the "swap front and rear" option (or plug your speakers into the sound card jack for Analog Rear).
