Disbalance... Live! Digital

Hello. I have a strange problem with kx drivers. I'm using 5.10.0.3537 kx driver version, tried an updated version, but still have the same problem... My soundcard is Creative Live! Digital 5.1 (SB0222 10K1). I'm using Windows XP Pro with SP2. If I use kx drivers, the front left sounds fine, but a bit louder than right channel (doesn't have a difference - swapped to rear or not swapped ), and the right channel sounds very "MP3'ive" ( seems that the right channel outputs just from the lowest to 10kHz or something similar, speaking about frequency band ). I don't have this problem when using the original Creative's drivers. All the settings are set to default, and everythere I can find they are identically equal. I find the problem just in listening. Does enybody have any ideas how to correct it? Thank You for help, and I'm sorry for my bad English...

Go to the 'Surrounder' Plug-In and disable any "wide" sound effects for rear speakers (standard set to 0.66). Depending on the quality of your speaker system assign a timbre or eq plugin to rear speakers since those are unaffected (flat sound) by default. This should affect front/rear differences not left/right but you can give it a try anyway...
If nothing helps and you're sure it is a driver fault clear the DSP and re-setup a basic output from scratch.
