2 speakers and subwoofer not working
Hey guys, I'm having troubles with my speakers. 2 of my speakers and my subwoofer just aren't working now. Right now it is my 2 back speakers, when I turn off the toggle front-rear button. The 2 front speakers won't work. I can hear noise (just a buzz) from the speakers that aren't playing the sounds. Any help would be appreciated.

Yep, they are both set to 5.1 surround sound. I just noticed on startup, that all of my speakers play the Windows startup sound, but after that the 2 that don't work correctly don't play any sounds other than just the normal buzzing type sound.

We need some info!...what version of the driver are you using? 3537,3538?
What model is your card? right click on the KX icon..click about..scroll down under hardware/software Configuration..it'll either be a SB### or a CT###..also just curious..when you installed the KX drivers you MOVED the wires for the front and the rear speakers on the sound card correct?
If you give us this info..we can make a better assesment as to whats happening..

SB0350 is the Audigy 2 ZS card, you should have no problems with speakers not working due to driver incompatibilities
make sure that none of the outputs are muted in the i/o window

No wires were moved. I've had this driver for a while but just recently started acting this way. I honestly have no idea what caused it to start doing this. All of my I/Os are unmuted. Also, I'm using driver Version: 5, 10, 00, 3537 - debug

Set Surrounder to 5.1 Surround On to hear stereo music played in all speakers. You will not hear stereo music sources from all speakers with Surrounder set to 5.1 surround off. You have to set it to 5.1 surround on, in such a case. Set Surrounder to 5.1 surround off for listening to true 5.1 surround sources. If setting Surrounder to 5.1 surround On doesnt work, you probably messed up the kX Mixer by messing around with the sliders.
So, if all speakers dont work, reinitialize the kX DSP by right clicking in kX DSP and selecting Reinitialize.
Make sure Windows Control Panel is set to 5.1 and keep it that way, and Surrounder to 5.1 surround on. All speaker mode changes should be done from surrounder, not Windows Control Panel. Make sure your speakers are connected to the sound card correctly, do a speaker test from kX Mixer, play some music, and then, tell us what happens?

This is unrelated BUT....You said you never moved your wires on your sound card when you first installed the driver correct? Then I guess you uncheck swap speaker function?...what happens when you do a speaker test..do you get the correct sound coming from the correct speaker?..just wonderin because if you didn't swap your wires and left the swap buttonj checked..your front and rears would be mixed up...Just a thought...
