cannot make kx work

running a fresh clean install of xp home sp2 lost audigy 2 value driver disc dont want to buy a new card or give any money to creative so i tried this .. on second try now still absolutley no luck plz help if you can

cpu info

athlon xp 2700
1 gig of ram (prolly kingston)
msi kt4av .. via MB
audigy 2 value
ati radeon 9800 pro
assorted hd's os on seagate 120 gig

first tried 3536 got nothing in programs i got a kx tab only stuff there is uninstall reinstall and browse sdk (seems to be nothing but assorted notepads) aureal driver and 98 se quick fix... gave up tried sb live driver trick ... nothing... tried 3537 basically same as what 3536 did ihave no idea where kx mixer may be located and installation prompts seemed all happy but i skip quite a few like do you want to install this driver for this card, the one about setting (some achronym location) if enabled option i cancel because i've never heard of anything like that on my comp i hope i've described this well enuf for you guys to help me thanx for any assistance

the next 3538 release should have full a2value support

thats too bad this doesn't any timeguess on 3538 ?
