list of supported audio card models?
since i saw many people .buyng for example a "usb "card ,
finding out after it's not supported
(as those cards don have eu 10k chips inside),
i wonder if:
there is a list of supported cards and/or a a list of supported models,
maybe with "known issues " list for the models ,
or the advantage /disavantages for the various models (ie asio mapping etc..9 ?
For example , if i try to search the forum for "audigy NX"
i find just "audigy" as "search-ENGINE-form" of the forum
exclude "nx" from the search as too short ;
that's the problem with every"shorter term" (so specific model numbers ,and so on).

I didn't see SB0229 on the list. Are those supported? You can get them at Walmart for like $25.

thanks .
its outdated ,for example zs is signed as not fully supported,
and above all ,
writing sb060 doesn't give a clue if u don have the card to check it (so just after you 've buyed it.
For example ,
i would like to know differences (IF ARE PRESENT off course) between zs "bulk ", "value " and so on .As i'm keeping an eye (it seems its the best to use with kx,or i'm mistaking?)
From what i've noticed by a photo ,"value bulk" does'nt have firewire ,which i think you need just to connect a rack (the platinum pro rack drive) or not?.
because i found "normal" , bulk ,"ZS R" and value bulk ,but except for the miss of firewire on the "value bulk" i got no clue

A2 Value is partially supported yet (with a special setup), full support may be after final version of kX3538. Look here: kX 3538h workaround for SB0400, Audigy2 Value

as mentioned above, there *is* a list on the kX faq. I am in the process of updating the faq, especially with card compatibility/issues. Unfortunately that file is not on this machine atm - but i should be able to submit the updated faq to eugene in the near future

bulk - you mean OEM? in most cases many OEM cards are supported.
EDIT - with you above post - audigy 2 zs bulk - there is no difference - check the model number (it should be SB0350)
as for "value" that is the Audigy 2 Value (SB0400) and support is in the works
