New users: Installing 3538
The different packages of 3538 (c,g,h etc) were designed to be upgraded from the previously installed version, but here is the easy way for those who are daunted by the idea of installing the drivers 3 times.
Step 1 - installing 3538c
Download 3538c from here
Install the application, but do not install the drivers
Step 2 - installing 3538g
Download 3538g from here
Install the application, but do not install the drivers.
Step 3 - installing 3538h
Download 3538h from here (This file needs to be downloaded - right click - save as - and renamed from .htm to .rar)
You will need winrar to extract this file (or winace or another program that works with .rar files)
extract this archive to your 3538 install directory (usually C:\Program Files\kX Project\3538\)
Click yes to any overwrite prompts
Step 4 - installing the drivers
Run the setup file from the 3538 install directory, once the drivers have been installed and your system rebooted, you are ready to use 3538h

Let me just make a foreword type of statment here. 3538 is a kX driver release that is currently in testing stage, and the use of these sort of releases by new kX users is usually discouraged because new users arent familiar with how kX is suppose to function. New users may make unreliable bug reports. That's one reason why it is recommended that new users dont use beta versions of the kX drivers. The smart new users will understand the message or point here.
Because this beta version is available for download by whoever visits the download links, you can read about each release's new features via the links below. I think some users of kX are very excited about the improvements of the latest kX driver release, so these type of posts are being made.
See these threads for new features of 3538c, g, & h:

3538g: http://driverheaven.net/showthread.p...highlight=3538
3538h: http://driverheaven.net/showthread.php?t=64383
Dont forget the new 3538 ProFX Plugins here: http://driverheaven.net/showthread.php?t=70261
Note: There is no UFX pack for 3538, at this time.

No Prob DJ.
I'm wanting to update the guide I've written to include 3538 and the new ProFX releases. So, I'm waiting for the final versions of these releases, even though I think they're already good enough to make great music!

Hi! The link to 3538h sends some sort of code, not RAR package. Is there another link

Aha
Well, I´m bit uneducated with these computers, still learning being only 52 of age...
Anyways I managed to install it and now testing these latency issues, just to find out before
my new 64bit processor arrives after easter. Had 3537 and 3538a before this with no
special problems... And this new MX6 mixer is fine, thank´s for that also!

Great drivers, but is there any way to turn off stupid dual connections between DSP modules? If you connect two modules wit one node, second one gets connected automatically. It's really annoying if you want to make some complicated arrangement of DSP modules and DSP panel keep messing with them on its own. This was not present in 3537.

links to 3538 not patches not working
Hi there!
For some reason none of the links pointing to 3538 driver patches are working. Is there a particular reason for removing files (c, g and h?) or it's just a technical problem?
Br,
Toomas

As a temporary solution, you can get the files here (atthe bottom of the page).

I removed the previous 3538 versions from my download page, as they should no longer be needed now that 3538i is out, and it is a full install.
<edit>
I put the files back temporarily since it seems that thye may still be needed.
Vradish's link (above) appears to be working again as well.
</edit>

Hey guys, I'm trying to update from 3537 to 3538h but the links provided above are dead. Can these files still be found or am I stuck using 3537 forever? From what I've read on the forums you cant just upgrade directly to 3535h from 3537, is this true?
