SB0092 10k2 connection problem

Hello,

Before I tell you my problem I'd like to say that I've intensely read the kX site for a solution to my problem, well; i couldn't find it. That's why I'de like to post my problem right here, hope you guys can help me

I posses a creative soundblaster audigy. I use kX project driver version 5.10.00.3537.
Here's my problem: I'd like to connect my soundcard DIGITAL and ANALOGUE to my reciever at the same time. Now, my reciever as seperate analogue and digital ins so this isn't the problem. The problem lies in my soundcard.

When I use the soundcard for analogue output, I have to use the black connector for front speakers, the green connector for rear speakers and the orange connector for sub+center.
When I use the soundcard for digital output, I have to use the orange connector for digital output.

You see the problem here: the orange connector has 2 functions: digital output and sub+center analogue output.

Now my question is:
Is there a way to tweak my card so that I can use (for example) my line-in or microphone connector as a analogue output for my sub + center?
In that way I can still use the orange connector as a digital out, en use the black, green and the pink or blue connector as analogue output.

I've searched in topics about routing and IO but I can't find the solution for my problem. Hope you can help me

That sounds quite impossible unless you rewire the chip, but who knows, there are genuises lurking here who might have an awnser. I would get a "Y" splitter for the orange output, use one output for centre/lfe and the other for digital.

I wonder why it wouldn't work...did you switch to Digital Output Only mode when you tried it?

Maybe a switch on your amp, or try un-plugging the digital cable from the splitter and see if the noise stops. Might be signal contamination, if there's such a thing.

Hi!

What´s about using the internal AUD_EXT connector from the Audigy for the digital task and the external plugs for the analog?! So you can have all outputs independent from each other at the same time. Some suggestions on www.electricstart.de .
