Rear Output problem

Hey guys,

I was wondering if any of the techies out there could help.

My Rear output on my Audigy 2 Plat only has 1 channel working as of Wednesday night.
It is not really causing any major hassles, I just use the LF/Centre output now, but would still like to fix it if possible.

I have a horrible feeling that I fried one of the components(maybe an inducer) while plugging it into a PA on Wednesday night. I seem to be able to give myself electric shocks between my computer case and the tip of the jack coming from the input of the PA !! I figure if this went into the card it may have overloaded a component. Is this possible? I must check the earthing on my computer !!

Is there a way to check the components on the Output side of my card. How do you tell if an inducer or one of the transistor looking components is dead?

Also, any suggestions how to avoid this happening again would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Phil.
