How to set spdif-out signal Master at 44.1Khz? (instead of 48 khz)

'm trying to figure out some possibilities of routing with 2 cards:
1)Sblive + creamware --using SONAR.

So i 've connected the 2 cards like that :
Guitar----> Sb spdif in

SBLIVE Spdif out ---> PULSAR (creamware) spdif in
SBLIVE analog out ---> PULSAR analog in

(pulsar analog analog :to cabinets /amplifier,all in wdm mode as asio i did'nt get to work as for now)

so i can record through spdif or "pulsar-analogs"(better converters) and hear at the same time.

Problem is :
if SONAR project is at 48 khz ,is all ok.

If SONAR project is at 44.1 khz ___(i have previous projects at that rate) ,2 behaviours :

1 )if pulsar is set to" master -clock "and at 44.khz , then playback in sonar starts,
but the signal from the sblive is 0 ,so NOT playback (i.e soundont) or guitar sound ,or recording anything.

1)if PULSAR card is set to" SLAVE" , then sonar refuses to start :__!!"unable to open audio playback device".

That's happen as Pulsar slave mode=Sb live spdif master clock is at 48 khz.

To avoid that problem , i think it would be cool to know:
how to set SBlive spdif master clock/signal out at 44.khz.?
in that way more routing could be made ,for 44,khz project also (Sonar CANT convert audio format ,just bitrate )

-------
-------
I think it can be done , as the spdif INPUT is not "just " at 48 khz, but can receive 44khz like on slave
..notice also that is NOT problem with cakewlk audio ,but with the new Sonar its a mess,,..

Not sure is this is related but SBLives cannot record at 44, ASIO must be set at 48 in order to record. The projects I had in Cubase at 44, I was able to just right click the track and convert to 48.

sblive can record at 44,kh,i did it for 3 years .
and spdif in,i can record in 44khz as well ( my guitar rack can send the signal in 44 and /or 48 khz into spdif-in).

the problem is ,SBlive "SPDIF OUT" send the signal at 48 khz andi du nnio if i can tell to use send it at 44khz.

AND ,SONAR CAN'T convert from 44. khz to 48 khz , or i would do that for many projects-songs.

side note:
as for now i'm not using asio ,sonar is not working at the moment good with asio (maybe as i'm using 2 cards)

Hi!

SBLive can record everything via SPDIF (22kHz to 48kHz) but recording in ASIO mode is only possible at 48kHz (the signal will be resampled before recording). Setting an SBLive to a different output frequency is impossible due to hardware limitation.

thanks travel !! !
to be sure anyway:
I know th asio works at 48khz and no more .

Do you mean also I can'T force signal-out from Spdif to be at 44khz at all even in NOt-asio recording(for the hardware limitation?)..?
i hope not,but i'm afraid you mean that..

Yes, unfortunately I meant that. Audigy (10k2) cards are able to modify the SPDIF out to 44.1, 48 and 96kHz, but not the 10k1 - it is still fixed internally and on the digital out too.
