Live Platinum Mic in2 /Line in 2

Hello.
I finaly got my Live platinum working with Cubase sx.
I use the Line in 2/Mic in 2 where i connect my guitar or my microfone, but i have a problem when i decrease the volume of Line in 2 in Kxmixer in In/ou section (not in recording recording) i lose the sound in asio. I seems that the control volume of output is also controling the volume in asio(recording volume). The asio volume should be controled by the Line in 2 but in the recording section in Kx mixer.
How can i solve this problem , because when i am recording i hear the sound duplicated (asio and output).

Thanyou KX team you are doing an execelent work much better then creative.

Don't use the default DSP for recording. Look at the Cubase guide and follow LeMury's examples. Build your own custom DSP and you'll be much happier.

But, is it possible to link Mic and line in directly to asio without passinf through the AC97?

I have a Live Platinum and i only cam see Line in 2/Mic in2, aux 2 etc in the prolog bar. I would like to see Mic in , Line in also.
Thankyou

You can have Mic/Line separate by using Src plug-ins and assigning them to the correct input. Thus each can be controlled or sent to a mixer. However, you can still only use one Ac97 input at a time on a Live. Combined with Live Drive, you can get 6 mono inputs to work with simultaneously.
