So funny... I can't understand how this is possible

Hi there. I'm user of kX Driver.
I recently began to record acoustic guitar with AudioTechnica ATM63HE.
However, because of its low gain makes recording so small,
I tried raising gain higher, but I noticed something funny.
So, I plugged microphone off and let Microphone Boost (+20dB)
After then, what I could hear from Microphone that wasn't connected
was RADIO!! I don't even know how this is possible.
Simply, there is no single radio software I'm using.

And when I turn angles of microphone jack, I could vary the volume.
Also, if I bang microphone jack, I could hear it zipping.
If I touch the end of microphone jack with my finger or my lips,
radio sound will be amplified, and then I got shocked.

Can anybody tell what the heck is wrong with this microphone jack, or how to solve this problem, so I can begin recording acoustic guitar into my computer!!

Try to change the cable. Looks like bad shielding.

Our recording stuff is in our attic and occasionally we pick up a radio station also, we just quit recording til it goes away. You should get a mic preamp to boost the signal of your mic and then use the Line in which is a cleaner signal than the Mic in.
