Hi all... i am new and i have some question...
Hy all
 I just install the kx project, all is work... but: 1) I am try to using headphone but there's a low quality of sound and a better quality with microphone when before (with Creative driver)... why? 2) Can i use 2 output sound (one for headphone)? 3) How can i set effect only for microphone? Thx |

With those drivers You can do almost everything with sound, all You need is some virtual imagination, because here, in kX, DSP is fully programable, and for example if You want effects only for mic, You'll have to build Your own DSP where for example reverb effect will be placed after outputs in the Prolog device in DSP window.
As for making two outputs, it is possible, but once again You'll have to route the same sound on front left/right outputs (that will be for headphones, physical front output in Your card), and the same for rear left/right (those will be for Your speakers), but however You are then limited to use 2.1 speakers and Headphones so far. Read the manual, it could be boring, but contains a lot of important information about construction of this driver for better understanding. |

The kX driver takes a while before you get past the "banging your head on the computer desk" stage but if you stay with it, you won't be able to go back to the Creative drivers.

Just like Doug W said, only one thing that makes me go back to Creative drivers sometimes is fact, that I can play Operation Flashpoint with normal sound

yea, i actually bought a seccond sound card so i could install kx on my parents computer, definately after you figure out the dsp, you will never want to go back. eax would be nice, but in the whole scheme of computer sound, its not that big of a deal...

Now i finaly do the microphone with effect.. but sometimes when i load more effect is says that i dont have much memory...
I have a bad sound with Headphone... i pay it 35 € (sony mdr-cd280).. Maybe i have to buy a great headphone? |
