??? Some things i don't understand...

Hi all.. There is some stuff i could'nt understand..
First.. it's the driver's versioning system..
and second.. the driver is rewritten from the scratch?

I don't have enough time now.. but i'll try to post later..

I'm using 3534f version of the driver.. and i get the "scratchy" sound problem.. (the one with the voice allocation bug).. an now.. (10 minutes ago) i got a BSOD 0x00000035 NO_MORE_IRP_STACK_LOCATIONS..
i tried 3537 and all others but the scrachy pb appeared more often than this one.. i get it like once a day. with those i was getting it like 5 times a day
What should i do about these?
-----
(I'm using the driver on a computer with 2xSB Live! 5.1 in a radio station meaning it's running like 24x7.. )

Hi,

and welcome on this forum. Try to give us more system and software details for catching your problems. Driver version 3537 should work fine, it´s very stable and reliable for the most users here, so let´s find the point.

Greetings!

Computer Config & List of BUGS :)

Computer Config:
------------------------
MB: Shuttle AN35 (LATEST BIOS UPDATE)
CPU: Athlon XP 2500+
RAM: 512 MB
AUDIO: 2xSB Live! 5.1
HDD: 40GB + 100 GB
------------------------
OS: WINDOWS 2000 SP4 + ALL THE UPDATES
------------------------
Driver ver. 3534f

The most buggy problem is the "scratchy" sound problem:
1. Sometimes the music sounds like it is played at a slow rate, and some samples are dropped (this happend often using 3537 version of the driver)
2. The most often instead of the sound i hear a continous beep or no sound, or i hear a fading out beep and then no sound. (this happens with the 3534f version)

I'l try to post some sound samples and some screenshots but don't count on it.

for the second problem i've found a way to get back to normal but unfortunatly i have forgotten to write down the steps..
The first problem encountered when i was setting a lower device latency (form kx=>device settings).. but even with the higher latency was still coming out..

I'll get back with some detailed description of the problems.

I have a sound sample -> Sound Forge Generated but it's the same

I got the error today. I have a sound sample
you can get it from here http://radiomeridian.3x.ro/square.zip
and the frequency is higher as the volume get's higher.
I found the way to reset the sound:
I stop everything playing and then i Reset Device Parameters and Global Settings.
The problem today: after i did this thing i tried to play somthing and i received the same BSOD again

Hmm, seems to be a system conflict. Be sure you have uninstalled all creative driver before you install kX. And believe me when I say that the 3537 version is the better choice.

For the DSP: Your card´s hardware is limited in iTram memory and GPR number. So if you load many plugins that use iTram and GPRs intensively, then you get this error. Audigy (10k2) cards have twice of memory and GPRs.

And sorry, your link is broken.

Fixed Link.. and comment

i fixed the link: http://radiomeridian.3x.ro/square.zip if it doesn't work copy and paste into your browser.

This means that those plugins could have a memory leak problem, as long as they are running for more than half a day and then they are saying they don't have enough TRAM and GPRs.
Or maybe thay are allocating the TRAM and GPRs in dynamic way.. .. hmm.. I was using only Compressor and Expander for Audio Volume.. if i'm right than this shouldn't be a real problem.. but if i don't.. it could be a bug
