Line in 2 bug!!

Really annoying bug... In the normal wdm mode. Line 2 recording input works yet when you switch the mode to asio it doesnt work... I presume I'm doing something wrong? lol I'm at the end of my wits as theres alot of building works nearby and my recordings are suffering!

Hi!
There is no bug. I´m nearly sure it is a routing problem inside the DSP or the sequencer program. Tell us more about what you want to do and with what soundcard, application and system specs.

I'm basically trying to record line in (2) into my computer..My soundcard is an Audigy 1.... It could be an Asio routing problem..How could I find out?

Hi!

Look into DSP-window and search the lines are going from PROLOG Line2 L/R to EPILOG ASIO x/y, note that ASIO pair. Activate then in the sequencer that pair in your recording track. It depends on sequencer software how to do that (that´s why I asked for the application). Some card models have an ASIO-mapping error so the pairs appear on another or do not exist (that´s why I asked for the card), Audigy1 is okay for that. Line2 input do only exist if you have a Live/Audigy-drive or external converters on AUD_EXT, so if you don´t have these things Line2 is not available.

Hmm, strange... Just for testing: load a SRC ProFX plugin in the DSP and attach a PEAK plug on it. Select in the SRC "LINE/MIC2" and check all your inputs with a signal (don´t forget to unmute and set up the corresponding faders in ins/outs page of kX-mixer). Look to the PEAK and check for incoming signals. If success, then connect the SRC with some ASIO inputs and try to record. On my Audigy all works correct with all inputs it has...
