No sound while capturing TV with PCTV-PRO and PCTV-Vision
Hello Guys!
My soundcard SB-Live now runs with the kx-project driver. Everything is working very well, but I can not record the sound of TV-programmes. I use a PCTV-PRO capture card and PCTV-VISION software, newest update 2.75. I can hear the sound but the sound can not recorded In the past I used the original SBLive-driver and there was no problem. I want to use the kxproject-driver because of GSIF-support for playing sound-samples. Please help me! G.G. Kunst The Netherlands |

this is a common issue regarding TV software… they try to use the windows mixer applet, which kX doesn't use…
you have to set line in (or aux in depending on which connection you use) as the record source in the ac-97 window, and set ac-97 to 0.0db in the record window. This should help, otherwise try usign a program that lets you select the audio record from source (should be kX 0/1) |
