AC3 Decode Problem

I have my standalone dvd player hooked to my spdif input on my audigy1 platinum.

I get all the channels correctly, even the subwoofer (where the creative drivers failed).

Sometimes though it gets all jittery and choppy.

Also sometimes my mouse gets choppy and jittery too (not sure if they happen together).

After 15-30 seconds it gets normal again, but watching a 2 hour movie the sound problem happens at least every 10-15 minutes, which is very annoying.

Is there a setting I have to change?

I do have hyperthreading enabled, is that the problem?

Is it a buffer setting, or some driver compatibility setting?

Thanks for anyone who can help solve this issue.

Set the kx Drivers to AC3 Passthrough (main page).

its a indipendent filter you have to install on pc ,commonly used to see .avi files with ac3 for example ,here you''ll find

http://www.softpedia.com/public/cat/...1-1-2-60.shtml

when it get installed ,you can adjust the ac3 settings simply clicking on control-panel-ac3 icon(on win98se,but i think its there also on winxp and others)

What the................. Jocking... Well I've tried ac3 filter, but I've the same problem I had using Power Dvd or Win Dvd... No sound with passtrought enabled or only stereo (the front channels) when spdif connected and internal ac3 decoding enabled.....

It' s a bug of kx drivers not a software problem because I've tried installing creative drivers, and all properly worked.

Hope eugene can fix it......
