??? 24 bit 96kHz

Hello all,

I would like to know who is actually using it .

I can make it work in foobar but I do not understand where I could benefit from it in real music situations.
Who has a real use for it?

Thank you,

Well, When doing anykind of wave editing the better the resolution/bit depth the better. It's perferable to edit in higher resolutions....has to do with math(I won't go into it) and of course 24bit SOUNDS better then 16 bit.

Here is a great article on 16 vs 24 bit. Its on Tweakheadz site which is a wealth of usefull home studio info.

I highly recommend Tweaks site, my projects sound better after heeding his advice.

24-bit ASIO support /2.ZS

I'm about to install KX V.3537 on my pc for the Audigy 2.ZS. Can you tell me if 24-bit ASIO support for 10k2-based boards has been implemented in KX Project version 3537 ?

Many thanks!
