Advice please.

Well first time posting on the kx forum...wow..

But here goes, i wanna try the kx drivers for my Sblive 5.1, any special advice options wise? I know you guys have lots of experience using these drivers so any advice regarding initial use of the drivers would be cool.

use the latest full release, version 3537.
also take a look at the Getting started guide

other than that - what model soundcard do you have? if it is an SB022x model you may not have rear channel sound

Allready read the guide and downloaded the drivers, i just have to check the SC model, ill get back to you soon on this. Thanks for the reply bud.

the model should be shown when you install the drivers

also read the kX helpfile - it will expalin several things indepth when compared to my guide

I am not gonna us KX till I get my audigy2.....just sound blasting it right now helios

Well i was thinking of buying an Audigy2, but i think i will stick with the SB for a while...

A common mistake beginners make is that they don't really understand the true powers of kX. They lie in the DSP window, so be shure to play around with that as soon as you install the driver...
