i've been using kx drivers for a while but only recently i've noticed some noise in the sub channel..
this noise is random...

you can see that in this recording i've made:

or in wav if you prefer:

the left channel is the central and the right is the sub

before i did this recordings, i've disconected the center and sub output from the epilog..
the diference is not that big but enought to make a lot of noise when i don't have any sound to the speakers..
i like to have a lot of sub when i listen music, so i've mdified my amp so that it has much more gain than the others 5 speakers..
so that litle noise is very amplified...
i have an SB060

can someone tell me what i can do to solve this problem??

that sounds like the sub's cable between it and the card may be damaged slightly, or that there is a very poor quality amp on the sub

when i disconect the cable from the amp to the card, all noises disapear.

and BTW when i did the recordings, i use a very small and new cable form the sub connector to lineIn...

must be some other thing...

could it be from all the dust that i have in the card.. and might this be causing some capacitive between the componentes?

Hi!

What kind of noise? White noise or 50Hz~ or digital noise from the computer? Try to put your amp´s mains plug in the same wall socket like the computer, move your card away from other PCI devices or drives or graphic cards...

Well, if nothing else, try dry-cleaning your card, and also try moving it around the PCI slots. Perhaps there's some interference from motherboard components taking place.

TravelRec, you can ear the noise in that recording i've made..
see the first post...
perhaps you have to increase the sound level so that you can ear them.. it's the right channel..

the tv card is next to the sound card... it could be from it...
i'll clen it from dust e move it to other pci slot...
