moving from SBlive to Audigy2.. really so much better sound cuality?

I live happily with my SBlive.. I usually make music using samples or VSTis synths, but I dont need rec any sound.

so for only playback pourposes:

Its really huge diference in sound cuality moving from SBlive to Audigy2?

No, the difference is minimal. I have "upgraded" to an audigy 1 and the only real advantages I see is twice dsp resources and the firewire port. Other than that there's not a really big difference. Playback seem to be a little bit better but not a lot better... Anyway, in your case, the sound is being produced and recorded by the cpu and not by the live, so the soundcard you have doesn't make a big difference.

System Specs

the sound produced on the computer will sound the same whether you have a live! or a pro-audio card, the only difference is playback quality
