Okay, I use ventrillo for some video games and the kx drivers. I've been having a problem where when I press the button to speak in my mic to my friends that they can hear the game louder than my voice even when i am plugged into headphones and speaking into my mic.
it has to have something to do with my settings because they always hear the sounds being played by my comp and it can't be being picked up by my mic because I use headphones - it has to have something to do with the sound card and drivers. Any ideas? thanks in advance |

Yep, I got an idea.
Open the kX mixer, go to the Recording section, bring down the Wave recording control to 0. That's the 2nd controller from the left in the upper row of controls, to the right of the Master recording level control. That should solve it. |
