Dolby Digital Support???

Hi guys, hi Eugene,

I discovered your page yesterday, downloaded and installed the drivers (for my audigy 2 zs) and solved my main problem using the kx project- inszead of the original drivers.

with the creative drivers i had some serious cd_spdif problems when watching dvds (audio not in sync with video).

with your drivers everything ok. (ok some minor sound problems (high frequency sounds seems to be distorted (high hets etc.), but hey, that's ok in the moment, perhaps i need a better configuration).

my main question is:

with the actual driver, can i exchange the ac3 decoder (lets say with the ac3filter found on sourceforge.net) and is the driver using my "on_card" dolby digital solution??? or is there somewhere, f.e. the surrounder, a software which is doing this job and if yes, can i disable it and lets doing it by my card???

great job, thank you in advance

yours
mocilo74

yeah...mine too (more or less)...but after browsing this forum i´m interested in the following because obviously he is using the ac3 decoder from sourceforge:

does the kx driver using the dolby digital decoder (the hardware decoder) on the audigy 2 zs or is this a software emulated solution??
