Kx and Promedia 4.1 speakers Frustrating

Hey all, I've finally gotten around to downloading these acclaimed drivers, the lack of updates from Creative was irritating.

First off what I'm running
P3 2.54GHz
SBLive! Platinum 5.1
Klipsch Promedia 4.1 Speakers
Have Windows set to 5.1
Have Kg Mixer set to reversed stereo and 4.1 surround

Now I was wondering if anyone has almost the same setup because I'm getting all kinds of strange problems with the drivers. I've tried switching in and out of reverse stereo and switching the Green and Pink inputs in the Forward and Rear jacks and always something strange will happen, weather it be my Subwoofer making no sound, the front 2 speakers being really quiet and echoey, things like that. I just can't seem to make it work properly. In fact the subwoofer analog volume control does absolutely nothing.

Any help would be appreciated. I'm not even sure if I know which plugs go in to which outlets anymore

[EDIT] OK, have some examples, with stereo reversed if I mute Analog Front it actually mutes the rear speakers and the front speakers are obscenely quiet to the point where you can't hear them. If I turn off reversed stereo, pressing a mute correctly mutes the proper speaker set and both sets seem to be around the same volume, but then there is literally no base coming from my Subs!

If I switch which jacks I place my speakers in, on reverse stereo mode the sound is just iffy, but almost no base. If I mute the fronts, it mutes the fronts properly and I get a little more base out of the sub. Same thing with the rear, I get more base muting one, but both on together is airy and very flat. Now if I remove Reverse Stereo the bass is better but if I muse the front speakers it just turns the front speakers down to a very low volume and mutes the rears instead. If I mute the rears it sounds like almost nothing happens, but the bass is overall better.

I'm just at a total loss as to what to do, I'm either getting good bass and sound pretty much coming from one speaker set or no bass and pretty even overall sound.

In the speaker setup section of the mixer, select the appropriate speaker configuration (e.g. 4.1). You'll be able to control your sub from there also. Also, you should connect your front speakers to the rear speaker output on your SBLive, because kX reverse front/rear channels. If the sound is strange, it's probably because youre connecting either your front or rear speakers to the subwoofer output.

I've already done this but still to no avail. I don't have a separate jack for my sub, it's all inputted in to it.

Also forgot to mention, that when I do speaker test (I have my speakers in reverse) if I push front left, it makes the test sound on the rear left. The sound is ok like this I even get some pretty good base, but obviously I have my inputs in the wrong slots.

Changing them around and leaving in reverse I lose my bass, and my music won't play out the rear speakers (although the sound test does for some reason)

[EDIT] Seems now, no matter what, either the front or back speakers aren't working even when i switch kx to 4.1, can't seem to find a remedy

The music won't play from your rear speakers unless you select some surround mode (try "copy"). This should fix your problems.
