Audigy LS compatibility?
Hi, first of all, I'm a huge fan of these drivers. Back when I had a SBLive X-Gamer these drivers gave the card such unbelievable value. (Just had to let that out)
Anyway, that was a while ago, and a blown up power supply, new motherboard later, I finally buy a new Sound Blaster card. This time I get an Audigy LS (the model is SB0312). I try to install the drivers and it goes like this: 1. Install kxdrivers into C:\Program Files\KxProject\...etc 2. White logo comes up, I click "Install..." 3. It gives me an info box, asks about VST plugins and then immediately tells me to press OK because it is necessary to reboot your computer. (I'm thinking "Isn't it supposed to install the drivers now...") 4. I reboot and of course nothing happens. I'm using version 3537 (latest drivers). I read somewhere (readme, forum, faq, etc) that I should try manually updating the drivers. I chose "Don't search, I will find the driver to install" and entered C:\program files\kX Project\3537\. I saw a list of different models of the Sound Blaster but didn't see my model (SB0312). I tried a few that were close to my model but only crashed my computer several times .The first time I tried installing this, there were no sound blaster drivers installed at all. After it didn't work I was under the assumption "well maybe they have to be installed" but to no avail. Anyway, I have given you as much information as possible. Thanks for any help! I'd really like to get this drivers working! |

Audigy LS is not real Audigy (10k2-based device), so, unfortunately, it can't be supported...

Hello all,
I've just bought Ã* Audigy Ls card model number sb0310. You said that because it's not an emu10k2 chipset, it will not be supported. xcuse me, but all sblive! cards are based on emu10k1, and the audigy LS is using an emu10k1. I've bought this card because of her price and because off the native support off the 24/96 in replacement off my old sblive! 5.1. I'm sure this card could be supported by Kx drivers Eugene! please! help us! Thanx for all the work you've done till now. ![]() Regards. BK. (sorry, I'm french) |

2. I doubt it supports 24/96, because it isn't supported by normal Audigy1 even. |

I've read that in a french review off the card.2. The card is able to record in 24/96. I've got iy in my pc & it works perfectly with the creative drivers! It seems that creative is using a secondary chip for that, and not the dsp. (need investigation) I will take all the chipsets references on my card and tell you what.

audigy ls -can- support 24\96 since the chip is actually very similar to the one used for 24/96 support on audigy2 (the 'p16v' chip), however, there's no real hardware-accelerated FX/SoundFonts engine

By the way, I'm not using hw fx or any soundfont, I just want to perfom audio acquisition in cubase SX with low latency. Is it insane to dream about just an asio support in the next beta drivers for this great cheap card?

What about Audigy ES ?
Also one should update the FAQ, to clearly state kX compatibility with Audigy LS and Audigy ES. Thanks a lot Pavel |
