Audigy 2 ZS problem with kX
There is something fishy in default routing at least for Audigy 2 ZS.
When I disconnect right channel from epilog I still hear sound from right speaker or earpiece. My audio equipment is ok or at least it works with Creative drivers without crosstalk. And the crosstalk is too strong so it must be something in the DSP and not in the electronics. There is another post somewhere in the forum about this (also Audigy 2 ZS). Does anyone have any ideas what to try and how to diagnose the exact point of crosstalk?

I agree that there is something going on I can't work out. If I clear the DSP window completely and remove all plugins then I still get sound output! However as soon as I insert an epilog of some kind it's as though the epilog takes over the sound output and you hear nothing until you patch something into the outputs. It seems to be like a default output or patch setup with nothing inserted into the DSP page. Anyone else have this?

theres a topic on this matter in the general discussion. what igor is talking about is something else. what drivers version are you using, igor?

You are right my issue is different. I have strong stereo crosstalk with kX. I am using latest build (it is in my signature). I am sure that the rest of the equipment is ok since I don't have crosstalk with Creative drivers. As I said I did "Clear DSP" and "Reinitialize DSP" just in case and I have the problem with default routing. Surrounder is set to Stereo only and if I disconnect right channel from epilog I still have sound in right speaker or earpiece. I don't have time to play with it at the moment but I could use a suggestion how to set it up to determine exact point of problem.

i know i had this problem with an older version of the drivers but its ok now... maybe try to check/uncheck the "Pan/Balance" in Settings -> Driver Compatibility... config.
