Device Found Found: Multimedia Audio Controller???
Hi,
I have a SBLive! PLatinum 5.1: I just installed WindowsXP from Windows2000(fresh install) and the kX drivers work fine. However, now there's a "New Device Found/Multimedia Audio Controller" message that pops up when I start the system(it hangs for about 45seconds and then proceeds, when starting). The kX drivers don't detect it as the Live!Drive (which I assume is what it is) nor do the proper drivers from Creative. Any ideas as to what might be going on!?! Thanks! Resolved!
Sorry....i've since fixed it. I had flashed my mainboard after installing and somehow the onboard soundcard was turned on again.
