In fact this is depends on how exactly those "directsound access" is implemented in particular software.

yes.

>how do you get to this

we have simply opened Sonar and made screenshot...
Seriously, just install kX (you will always be able to remove it from your pc if something goes wrong) and you'll see everything yourself...

i already installed it and it is very great but i have only 1 hardware acceleration card and the 3 others are without hardware acceleration, i can see that in my directx9. they all passed the directx test but only 1 is still hardware accelerated.

i don't know if it is normal ?

If i understood well, i can have 2 sblive on windows98SE with your drivers and i can have 2 different hardware acceleration ?

thx to helping me in finding problems.

wish you good work

Yes... those extra devices are visible as "emulated" but this is just what windows thinks of them... this does not mean that kX does not "accelerate" them... Just try your DJ software...

(also make sure that in windows control panel->multimedia "acceleration " is set to full and speaker output is set to 5.1)

actually i'd sayd that "hardware acceleration" is not the keyword here...
e.g. do you have problems using those extra ports? Syncronisation issues, drop-outs, big latency?

Yes, but you probably will face some sync. issues since each card works at its own clocks...
