Here comes AC3 decoding!!!

Eugene, thanks a lot for new built-in AC3-decoding algorithm! Let it be "highly EXPERIMENTAL", but it's only begining I think! Believe me or not, but it's just like celebrity, for me and most part of X-card users!!! It's really a good nwes. I'm going to have'em and check for 2.0 and unstandart bitrate support. Will subscribe evrything i'll find (but may be in russian forum). Going out to other sites for good nwes dissemination!!! P.S. You are verify magician, but I just study

everything works for me without any problems.

my setup - 3 sb lives:
- CT4832 10k1
- SB0060 5.1
- SB0222 10k1

all the plugins work too and im loving it! big thanks!

there 2 things i'd really love to see as soon as possible:
interpolation on the kx automation.
resizable dsp window.

i improvised the interpolation for now with a small pd (pure data) patch, which works just fine and doesnt eat a lot of cpu resources. if anyone wants it, i can send it to you.

I still seem to be having an unfortunate STOP ERROR problem.

I'm using a dual-P3 800 machine (this could be the problem?) with an older SoundBlaster card (i'm not sure of the exact model, however I know it's a CT*****) and Windows XP. My speaker setup is 5.1 without sorround, so I have two output pairs. However I'm only using one at the time of the error.

I get a STOP error, with no extra information apon the playback of DirectSound. The STOP error is sparadic, however it's inevitible that it will happen within a few minutes.

Is there any extra information I could provide to help? Please help!!!

Did you used driver heaven cleaner and make sure you save your kxplugin DSP save. That way if something mess up you can load it in.

Ran the Cleaner, but that didn't help much. Anyway, I didnt have any previous version of the kX drivers installed. Just the Creative drivers..

i dont know if this will help, but application im using when the blue screen occurs is using BASS.DLL (http://www.un4seen.com/) as a playback device.

Probably yes. Try to install 3534 version.

Not only PIV with HT, but also other dual processors systems suffers This Bug.

I have used the 3534 version before. The problem is, my recordings have stutering/skipping in them. I was all excited to see that the RC1.1 got rid of the stuttering and skipping, but then the machien blue screened !

By the way, I'm using a CT4670.
