Routing & Headphones

Hello all,

I've had KX installed for quite a while but have never really looked under the bonnet until now. I have read some of the documentation and find that my brain starts twisting and really hurting due to the steep learning curve it presents.

I have tried searching these forums but the answers supplied still make little or no sense to me.

Im trying wire up Traktor so that I have the main outputs on the rear outputs on the SB and the headphones on the front outputs but just either get all out of the speakers or headphones or both.

Please, in the simplest of language for this intellectually challenged individual, how do I achieve this?

Thanks in advance

Chris

I dont quite think you can achieve that, i mean you cant have the main output to the rear and use the headphones with the front output. You will have to use the center/AC-2 Jack, that is the digital out jack on the sblive, and then use the route headphone -> subwoofer/ac-2 channel. and then use the swap Front/Rear channel on the main window, that should be on by default. Hope this helps.

if you wish to use the separately (say, as 'Wave 4/5' and 'Wave 6/7' devices) you need to do the following:
open 'Surrounder' and choose '4.0 quadro' mode (or '5.1 direct path')
-- this will separate the 'front' and 'rear' outputs

if you wish to re-route them -- simply re-connect the 'Surrounder' outputs to the particular epilog inputs
