SB Live + SB 16?!?
Is it possible/practical/waste of time to try and use a SB 16 to get 2 more inputs, as people on this Forum have done with, for instance two SB Live, Live + Audigy etc. I really need 2 more inputs to record some drums nicely, and since I have a SB 16 sitting right in front of me, and pretty much no fincances at the mo, I thought it would be cool if it could be put to use, rather than collecting dust in the draw!

It'll work only if your sb16 has a digital output, which I doubt. And it would have to use regular Creative drivers, while your other card (sblive or audigy) would use KX drivers. Than it would work and you'd get 2 extra mono inputs.
