KX3534-44.1 or 48khs- VSTi, VSTack, SX, LOUNGE, GRAND

Fisrt let me say im a newbie.

The new Lounge Lizard 2 sounds great, however with KXdrivers running in 48khs its NOT IN TUNE! ( I did not have this problem with ver 1) Having had some similar issues with The Grand in the past I thought it had something to with the sample rate. So I downloaded the new KX drivers which allow both 44.1 and 48. When I set the sample rate to 44.1 Lounge Lizard 2 is in key again, but then The Grand is out of key! I suppose that the sample rates from which the samples in these 2 VSTi instruments are made are different. GRRR! I need to use both these instruments in both VSTack and Cubase SX.

After playing around with the settings I realized if I set the sample rate from 48 to 44.1 and get Lounge in key AND THEN set it back from 44.1 to 48 that BOTH The Grand and Lounge Lizard 2 are back in key and all sounds great. But each time i restart either Cubase or VSTack I have to set it from 48 to 44.1 and then back again to get both VSTi in tune. This is a pain because I use the PC on stage w/ no keyboard, mouse or monitor attached.

Any suggestions?

In Cubase SX the grand is in tune if I use 44.1 or 48k. In other software, as in SPINAUDIO, the grand gets out of tune when in 48k mode.

Yes I noticed that as well. That was my previous problem I had before, my first run-in with this type of problem. I had been using the grand in Cubase SX and then wanted to try it onstage using a VSTi host. I tried it many host programs and found that VSTack was the only one it worked in. VSTack is great btw, especially if your used to Cubase SX.

But now I guess Lounge Lizard 2 is having the same type of problem in both Cubase SX and VSTack. Which sucks because it sounds terrific.

Still looking for suggestions on using:
Cubase SX and VSTack with:
Lounge Lizard 2
The Grand
N.I. B4

Is there a sample rate that all of these will be in tune? (at the same time)
And if so will KX drivers support it anytime soon?

BTW im still amazed at the HUGE benefit of KX ASIO, Previously getting a rediculas 40ms latency with SB drivers, with KX I running at 5.33ms.

Ok, I just installed the update 1.02 for the Grand and my problems with it went away. You should try that. Lounge Lizard 2 works perfectly in spinaudio with 48k and also B4. I will install VSTack and see what I get.

Ok, I tested with VSTack and in fact lounge lizard 2 sounds with wrong pitch. The grand and B4 work fine though (as all other VSTi I have). I guess the probelm is in Loung Lizard... One possible way to make it work is to keep the asio settings in 44k as you've mentioned.
