Sad Can't control volume and pan over Winamp...

I installed the latest KXDriver (Version: 5, 10, 00, 3534) on Windows ME. I have SB Live! DE 5.1. I'm running Winamp 2.76 for listening to my musics. However, I notice that volume and pan slider on Winamp are not working anymore. Does anyone know how to fix this issue ? Thank you very much.

I had this problem too, but for me, I fixed it by going into Winamp and changing the Input/Output plugin. I can't remember which, but either I had a different output plugin than DirectSound selected, or I had a different-than-default input plugin for MP3s selected. But it wasn't a problem with the kX drivers for me, even though I thought so at first. Good luck.

Hi

This plugin option seems correct

Why don't you try Winamp 3 and KX 3535?

But I did not try

Hi James!

Tested solution with kx 3534f and winamp3 :

Go to options / preferences / Direct Sound ; check the box "Enable DirectSound"; set as output device "kx wave 0/1" and set the buffers to a corresponding value, so that no sound problems may appear.

Close the preferences and play any sound. Now the sliders will manage your tracks.
