audigy 2 oem newby questions

First I have an asus p4p800 with ht enabled, is there still a conflict there with these drivers? What would I have to change in the bios?

I record old lps and am wondering if these drivers would be good for that?

Also is it reasonable to have a second operating system on a 2nd partition, just for audio - with these drivers and leave the creative drivers on the other (I use xp)?

Any conflicts with ati video cards?

Probably wrong forum for this, but I would like to connect my accoustic guitar to the computer via a pickup, any ideas on the best way (not to expensive) to do this?

Anyone know about hyperthreading conflicts - and what I should change in the bios to use these drivers? I would like to give them a try.

opps, just used the search engine and it appears I can use a separate partition without problems and also looks like if I disable ht in the bios that will solve that problem.

mods can delete this thread if they like.
