EMU 0404 USB / Cubase LE Problem

I have just bought an EMU 0404 USB 2.0 and one of the bundled programmes is Cubase LE. Prior to this I was using a Soundblaster Audigy soundcard with Cubase SX 2.2 and Kxsfi. I have removed the Soundblaster card and uninstalled Cubase SX and everything seems fine apart from the fact that when I run Cubase LE it gives me this message -

Initializing Kxsfi. Application failed to start because kxapi.dll was not found.

The kxapi.dll file is where it should be so what's going on? Do I in fact need kxsfi any more?
