Re: x64 driver (Vista x64 and Windows XP x64) - ALPHA - 3546
Ram issues only seem to be on 7.
Check the thread in this forum, we should probably verify that with a few more reports. |

Hi Temragon! Tks for your advice. I've done with running kxmixer in compatibility mode, and could run the km mixer already. And as read threads above, i set Master Mixer as default device, but totally no sound. Then i switch Wave output 4/5 as default device, and Master mixer as default communication device, but there happen such an continous sound popping. Could you guide me on how to set up on this to get sound ![]() ![]() , and also setting up in kx mixer.Tks so much Hoanjun |

My only advice is to read the rest of this thread, or try larger buffer settings (Right click the mixer tray icon and dig through there). If you have more than 2gb of ram, it MIGHT be the problem. |

Re: x64 driver (Vista x64 and Windows XP x64) - ALPHA - 3546
Drivers not work for me. Everything is going fine but after few minutes (watching film, or listen music) sound is very distorted. Im back to creative drivers again and i'm not happy with that. Any ideas whats wrong? my pc: Vista x64 SP2, Audigy 2 (SB0240), 8Mb RAM (with 4MB same effect), GFX: radeon4870, Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-MA790X-DS4

Re: x64 driver (Vista x64 and Windows XP x64) - ALPHA - 3546
hello there,
i'm using the driver with sb0400 (audigy 2 value) under windows 7 x64. everything works fine (except some clickings in sound just after the installation, but i've solved it changing from Wave Out 6/7 to 0/1) the only issue is ASIO - it doesn't work even with the software said to be supporting x64. i've tried to use it with GuitarRig 3.2, but it says the ASIO is "Stopped". asio4all driver works fine in the same time, but with noticable delay is there any workaround? maybe any settings? |

make sure you set the right sample rate for the GR (kX ASIO support only 48000Hz for ASIO inputs).

Re: Îòâåò: x64 driver (Vista x64 and Windows XP x64) - ALPHA - 3546
it doesn't allow me to select any sample rate (the only choice is "0" and is not selectable). also there is an "ASIO Config" button in GuitarRig; nothing happens when i click it (in 32-bit Vista this button opened the kX asio settings window)

Is this a 64-bit version of GuitarRig? Note that the 64-bit version kX supports only 64-bit ASIO hence requiring the ASIO client to use 64-bit ASIO interface.
p.s. mm, according to NI site, it looks like there's no 64bit version of the GR. i.e. you won't be able to use GR with the kX ASIO in 64-bit OS. - i.e. use asio4all.

don't think sample rate is the main problem. "asio config" button is not clickable, and also there are no inputs\outputs avaliable to choose from in GR settings. i guess the kxasio implementation is a bit outdated or incomplete for x64 systems. so will be waiting for the newer version ) |

Re: x64 driver (Vista x64 and Windows XP x64) - ALPHA - 3546
using windows 7 RC with 8GB ram an no sound here.
Figured drivers just didn't work, but now that I'm seeing others with the same issue I'm thinking it might be related. This evening I'll take out some stick of Ram and see if that fixes the issue. |

Re: x64 driver (Vista x64 and Windows XP x64) - ALPHA - 3546
just thought i'd report that using winxp x64 i have absolutely no problems. no noticable that is.. although ADC of profx seems to be having problems with gui but this might be a problem with my winxp since i nlite'd it.. maybe i removed some runtimes required for it. but using SRC from profx solves the problem for me

Re: x64 driver (Vista x64 and Windows XP x64) - ALPHA - 3546
I'm running Win7 7264 with SBLive! (SB0102 10k1 ac00). I have kmixer running in compat and the Wave Out 4/5 selected, I haven't tried DSP (for now I have no need) but overall the sound works perfect. I'm VERY VERY glad you guys got these drivers running, it was the only thing I didn't like about a Windows 64bit OS (I normally run linux anyways) but since this works I'm extremly happy. Now I don't cringe as much when I'm booted into windows, thanks guys you did an AMAZING job. Peace!

Re: x64 driver (Vista x64 and Windows XP x64) - ALPHA - 3546
hi guys,
before I try to install a Win 2008 Server x64 OS with a KX x64 driver, I thought to better ask if that might work - as most Vista x64 drivers work on Server 2008 x64 can someone of you answer this question please!? thanks |
