Stuttering Noise at Output = Novice XD
Hello all,
Now I usually resolve my technical woes / bodge it good. Unfortunately, looking through forums has yielded little joy for me this time. I use Vista through a dell XPS 420 (don't you dare!) q6600 Intel pro 3 GB RAM Audigy ZS Platinum with Kx 3545b Essentially, the problem is (VERY LOUD) glitchy noise that appears whenever a folder opens or media is played back (i.e any program generating a sound output) I'm sure there's more info you need but that's a start. Advanced apologies if I provoke...

Re: Stuttering Noise at Output = Novice XD
Hi all, I think I've nailed it. For anyone else who has this problem in vista. If you have more than 2 GB RAM, your card's probably not going to work. I noticed E. mention something about addressing problems - this may be the case.
As a side note, is it worth compiling an faq of past problems and their solutions found thus far? |
