Cubase SX and ASIO problems...

Hello!

I've just noticed something (for me) new in Cubase SX (1.0.5.61)...

The VST Performance window in Cubase is showing about 70-80% CPU-usage...the ASIO latency is set to 5 ms...having about 6-7 audio-tracks (with some vst-effects)...

The Problem: Every 1-2 seconds the OVER(load?) "led" in VST performance window lights up, and the song stops for 1 second, and then continues...

Setting the ASIO-latency to 20 ms, solves the problem...

But even at CPU-usage as low as 30%-50% (by optimizing effect usage), I sometimes get that little pause (overload) maybe every 2-3 minutes...(it differs a lot from time to time)

I also tried to change the Expert settings, but that didn't help...

Is there anything I can do to fix this, a cubase setting or kX setting?...maybe a BIOS setting?...

---

Another thing I've noticed right now, is that I have a little bit disted sound, some blips-blops (crackling) is heard...why?
