Can't even install manually. HELP!

PIII 733MHZ 128MB RAM. Windows XP Pro

Attempted to install kX Driver 3533b beta FULL, with no result. I rebooted after the install. But no icon appeared in the task bar. And when trying to start kxmixer.exe it just said:

"File kxskin.kxs not found or is invalid
The kX Audio Driver wasn't installed
correctly Please re-run Setup."

So, I assumed that the automatic install didn't work. I used your instructions for installing the drivers manually. But at this point:

"..Driver tab; click on the "Update Driver" button; click Install from a List or Specific Location, click "don't search, I will choose"; click on the Have Disk button and find your drivers on the desktop (or temporary directory); find the appropriate driver for your model. "

When choosing the files kx.inf and/or ctljystk.inf, and pressing enter. It just say somehing like this: "The chosen destination doesn't content any machine information."

Alas, could someone help me out?

are you sure you have emu10k1/10k2-based board?..

yes, its sound blaster live!

how do i uninstall my sound blaster live? (just uninstall the driver?)
