Missing notes & phasing in VSTi with KX

Hi!

I run "Halion" (a software sampler) in Logic 5.5 . On that I run a huge drumkit (80mb). Sometimes it skips certain hits so e.g. a snaredrum-hit is missing in the song. These missed hits occur on the same place in the song but if I don´t play it from the beginning but instead play it back from just a few bars before the problem section, then it´s alright.

I know this sounds like a problem with the sampler but I have tried to increase memory and polyphony without result.

This was with KX driver 3531. Today I tried to install the latest driver, 3533 and now there were no missing notes so it seems to have something to do with the driver BUT instead I got a phasing problem (which I also had with version 3532 but not with 3531). When I record my drums, certain (and quite a few) notes get recorded twice and hence phase when they are played back (when recording it sounds alright).

Logic doesn´t recognice these as duplicates (there´s a command for erasing duplicates) but if open the editor of the recorded track I can see that some notes have been recorded twice.

Does anyone have the same problems?

Thanks a lot!

Petri
